Pieces made for the room they stand in, when nothing off the shelf fits.
We design furniture when the room needs something that does not exist: a table for an awkward span, a bench that turns a corner, storage that has to sit under a sloping ceiling. It is not a luxury add-on — it is usually the cheaper answer once you have priced three near-misses that do not quite work.
Everything is drawn for a specific maker. We have four we work with regularly and we choose between them by what the piece needs, not by who is free.
Eight to sixteen weeks from approved drawing to installed piece.
